Plain Sight was a group exhibition that ran from September 14 to November 3, 2018 at Residency Art Gallery. The artists in this show seek out nuanced understandings of history through an intimacy with the natural world. Their work uses research, ritual and close observation to question authoritative reality and to shape new ways of seeing Southern California. 

Plain Sight featured photography by Ken Gonzales-Day and Mercedes Dorame, painting by Devon Tsuno, and debuted new work in sculpture and photography by Ruben Ulises Rodriguez and Chinwe Okona.
