Native Thinghood was a collective of young culture-makers who made zines, organized exhibitions and film screenings, and hosted other events throughout Los Angeles. Highlights included our 2011 exhibition featuring a performance piece by Patrisse Cullors, a 2012 film screening featuring work by Terence Nance, Kahlil Joseph, Akosua Adoma and Ben Caldwell, and the premiere of Erin Christovale & Amir George’s first-ever Black Radical Imagination screening.
Native Thinghood members included Simone Andrews, Erin Christovale, Bertran Cooper, Kasey Cunningham, A-lan Holt, Henoch Moore and Savannah Wood. Poster designs by Khylin Woodrow.
